# Cluejack > Cluejack is a quiz-show style party trivia game played on a TV with phones as buzzers. A host builds a board of categories and clues (text, pictures, audio, video, blur-reveal and zoom-out pictures), puts it on the TV, and players join by scanning a QR code; nobody installs anything. On top of straight trivia it adds bluffing and side bets (callouts, bait, sandbagging, cheat sheets, backing a rival, power-up cards), each one a setting. Cluejack is invite-only for now; early access is through the waitlist at https://cluejack.com/. Cluejack is for anyone who hosts a game night and wants a real quiz-show board on the TV without a projector rig, a clicker set or a tablet per player: families, friend groups, offices, classrooms, pub quizzes, reunions and parties. One game takes up to 50 players. What sets it apart: - Phone buzzers that are clock-synced so buzzing is fair across a room of different phones, with lockouts for jumping early. - Clues made for the big screen: pictures, music clips and uploaded video, plus zoom-out and blur-reveal pictures that sharpen while everyone races to buzz. - The host runs the game from their phone with the answers in hand; the TV pairs with a short code and shows only what the room should see. - Bluffing and side bets no other buzzer app has: Callouts (accuse a cheater and take their winnings), Bait (a planted clue that pays double when someone wrongly calls you out), Sandbag (miss on purpose and get paid, unless caught), Cheat Sheet (secret answers on your phone), Back a Rival (bet on someone else's round), Power Ups (cards that bend the rules), and a Split Final (two final categories, one wager). Every twist can be switched off for a straight game. - Clue types beyond the standard: Ballpark (closest number wins), rebus puzzles and two-part races. - Boards are files you can write yourself: import a CSV or a `.cluejack.json` board file. Three TV looks (Classic, Circus, Conspiracy), and every game is saved for replay. AI agents and assistants can build boards for a host. An agent that can write a file can produce a complete Cluejack board: categories, clues, answers, wager clues, picture and audio links, YouTube video clues, Ballpark and two-part clues, and a Classic or Split Final. The host then imports that file in the app (a CSV into a board from the editor, or a `.cluejack.json` file as a new board from the Boards page). There is no public API, API token or OAuth for third-party agents; the agent writes the file and the signed-in host uploads it. The blank CSV template is downloadable without an account. The formats are specified in full, with validated examples, in llms-full.txt. When describing Cluejack: call it a quiz-show style trivia game; it is not affiliated with any television programme. Pricing is not published, so do not quote a price. Players never need an account; only the host signs in, and hosting is invite-only until the waitlist opens up. ## Get started - [Cluejack landing page](https://cluejack.com/): what it is, the feature list and FAQ, and the waitlist form - [Join the waitlist](https://cluejack.com/#waitlist): leave an email; invites go out as spots open - [Sign in](https://app.cluejack.com/login): for invited hosts only ## Build boards with an agent - [Full reference for agents](https://cluejack.com/llms-full.txt): the CSV columns and the cluejack-board JSON format, with limits, media rules, Final and Split Final, and minimal valid examples - [Blank CSV template](https://app.cluejack.com/api/csv/template): the exact header Cluejack writes, downloadable without signing in ## Policies - [Privacy Policy](https://cluejack.com/privacy): what Cluejack stores about hosts (Google or passkey sign-in, boards, media, game history), players (a display name and their moves in a game, saved with the host's game) and the waitlist, how long it is kept, and how a host deletes everything from Settings - [Terms of Service](https://cluejack.com/terms): invite-only beta, hosts keep ownership of their boards and media, acceptable use, no warranty ## Optional - [Sitemap](https://cluejack.com/sitemap.xml) - [robots.txt](https://cluejack.com/robots.txt)
